About vibEats

Everything on this page describes what the app actually does today. No feature listed here is unbuilt, and nothing free is described as paid — or the reverse.

Positioning

vibEats ends the "where should we eat?" argument.

Most restaurant apps help you find a place. There are dozens of them, they all have photos and star ratings, and none of them help with the actual problem: it's 6pm, everyone's hungry, nobody can decide, and scrolling a list of forty restaurants makes it worse.

vibEats does two things those apps are bad at. It decides for you — tell it your mood, your budget, and how far you'll go, and it picks one real place nearby and tells you why. And it remembers — every place you rate goes into a private history that is actually yours, so next time you know where the good burger was.

Every meal has a story. Every bite has a vibe.

One-liners

Free features

vibEats Premium — one-time $9.99, never a subscription

Buy once, own it forever, on every device signed into your Apple ID. Nothing that is free today ever moves behind Premium.

The biteMeter™

vibEats' signature rating system. Instead of picking a star count you'll forget, score the visit 0–100 and capture what actually mattered:

Taste · Vibe · Service · Value · Photo Worthy

The result becomes a share card worth posting, and an entry in a history worth keeping.

Privacy — a real differentiator, stated accurately

The AI Concierge runs on Apple's on-device models. Where a device doesn't support them, the app falls back to a deterministic parser and says so rather than claiming AI it isn't using.

Honest about what it doesn't do

Worth stating plainly, because it builds trust and pre-empts one-star reviews:

Place information comes from Apple Maps, which does not provide photos, star ratings, reviews, or opening hours. vibEats shows none of those rather than inventing them. If you want crowd reviews, use Google or Yelp. If you want something to decide for you and remember what you thought, that's this.
